September 15, 2007 - FoodFest - Rain or shine from 11:00 am-4:00 pm. The Hilton Head Area Hospitality Association's FoodFest, experience great food, food, food and more food. FoodFest includes around 20 of Hilton Head Island's best restaurants offering samples of their most popular menu items. Admission is $2 per person and includes admission into the event and all entertainment throughout the day. Don't miss the Drink Making Contest at noon where area bartenders compete for the most original and most yummy concoction. Come watch the area's best wait staff compete in the very popular Waiter's Race held at 1:00 pm. Plenty of soda, beer, wine and food are available for purchase. September 16 - 17, 2007 - Wheelchair Tennis Championships - ROHO/PTR Wheelchair Tennis Championships at the Van der Meer Tennis Center and Shipyard Racquet Club. September 22, 2007 - Ride4Kids - Ride4Kids to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island at Hilton Head High School, 8:30 a.m. A fun bike ride for all ages and skill levels with 5, 10 and 25-mile routes on the Island’s bike paths with a health fair and lunch at the finish line.
