All summer, 2008 6:30 – 10:00 pm - Summer Jams Concert Series - The summer jam concert series is back! The Island Recreation Association holds the summer-long event on Tuesday evening at the Shelter Cove Community Park. Each week local favorite Music Madness will perform, with the highlight of the night being the fireworks displayed over Shelter Cove. Concessions will be sold. Where: Shelter Cove Community Park

Tuesday evenings all summer - Harbourfest - Harbourfest is held each Tuesday night at Shelter Cove Harbour. The free summertime celebration features live entertainment and fireworks. Food and handmade crafts will be for sale. For more information, call (843) 785-1106. Cost: Free

July 11 -20, 2008 - 53rd Annual Beaufort Water Festival - Livin' a Coastal Dream, the Beaufort Water Festival will be held at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Historic Downtown Beaufort, SC. Food, music and fun for the whole family.

Beaufort County Water Festival - Ten-days of fun and entertainment opening featuring the Parris Island Marine Corps Band, fireworks, Parris Island Rock Band. Weekend daytime activities include U. S. Coast Guard Cutter tours, boat races, air show, ski show, arts and crafts fair, food vendors and more. Nightly activities include Concert in the Park, Motown Monday, Reggae Night,Talent Show, Lowcountry Supper, Street Dance, Commodores Ball.

July 13, 2007 - Island Music Showdown - A Drum Corp International Event, Friday, 07/13/07 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Hilton Head HS Stadium. Drum Corp International puts 50 plus competitive groups on the road in the summer. On July 13th 8 drum and bugle corp will compete at the Hilton Head HS Stadium just prior to going to Atlanta Regional event on the 14th. These are world class music organizations and seating will go fast. July 24 - 27, 2007 - Heritage Junior Championship - Tuesday, 07/24/07 8:00 AM - Friday, 07/27/07 4:00 PM. The Heritage Classic Foundation, which conducts the PGA TOUR’s Verizon Heritage, has agreed to a three-year sponsorship of the Heritage Junior Championship to be held July 24-27, 2007, at Hampton Hall Club in Bluffton, S.C.

The 84-player, 54-hole event will feature the nation’s top junior boys and girls, ages 12-18. The first round will be held Wednesday, July 25, with the second and final rounds being played Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27, respectively.
